Who” is Right or Wrong Rather Than “What” is Right or Wrong

I’m continually observing a recurring point of contention hindering our pursuit of truth ― the proclivity to focus on “Who” is right or wrong rather than “What” is right or wrong.

I believe that by repositioning our focus from “Who” to “What,” we can impart upon us the validity of empathy. When we pursue to understand the intentions behind differing opinions, it triggers purposeful dialogue and pulls apart the barriers of hostility. Let’s let empathy serve as the branch that connects our hearts and minds.

To undertake this journey towards being cognizant of “What” requires humility. Acknowledging that no one garners a flat-out monopoly on truth, we must continue being open to growing, changing, and evolving. Humility empowers us to learn from one another, fostering personal and cultural evolution. In pursuing what is right and wrong, “Who and What,” encouragement and collaboration will thrive. We should set aside the continual need to prove solely who’s right and create a space where benevolence and cooperation can flourish. Together, we become a force of more significant achievement, innovation, and compassion.

Outside our individual growth, concentrating on “What” over “Who” will unite the world at large. As we walk along this path, we will leave a lifelong legacy for future generations. By embracing empathy, wisdom, and unity, we pass on a forward-looking, thinking example.

Our time today is irreplaceable, but by seeking to understand “What,” we embark on a journey toward a more enlightened truth, unity, and peace. Let us encourage each other to welcome this profound shift.

Keep growing, learning, and being you. Let us grow together.
