We often hear people say, “I want to do something that’ll change the world.” If we want to do something that will change the world, we must be open to evolve and grow ourselves first.
While the past is an enjoyable place to visit, it’s not the most amazing place to live. Nothing new ever happens in the past. We can only create our destiny and a new narrative in the present.
Being affected by or developing depression during Covid-19 by no means enables us to manage the triggers and stressors. Managing your depression will rely on your resilience.
To grow, we must make every effort every day to turn into our minds’ interior decorators because, at the end of the day, our mental-space is the substance of our core.
These difficult times provide meaningful growth opportunities. Experiences like these, in the end, can strengthen who we are and what we stand for. Understand when we become paralyzed by fear, it oozes into all aspects of our life.
The money raised from this fundraiser will help us continue to support our essential work in our community by providing educational grants. Our support groups, educational seminars, and support counselling services reach those with PTSD and their families so they can get the help they need now.
