Life is Love – Happy New Year

Roman philosopher Seneca wrote, “The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy, which hangs upon tomorrow and loses today…The whole future lies in uncertainty: live immediately.” (Yes I’m a Stoic and someone who listens to TM.)

Time is our most valuable asset and precious commodity – one which we have less of with each passing moment. Each day examine and reflect on how you utilize your 86,400 seconds, 1,440 minutes, and 24 hours. Ask yourself, were the thoughts, behaviors, and actions that encompassed the majority of your day based on fear or freedom?

The notion of making change and setting resolutions tends to at an all-time high during this time of the year. Learn to view change as a gift that you can give yourself. It would be best if you welcomed transformation and its positive growth opportunities instead of resisting the discomfort. In this New Year, seek new experiences, learn new skills, open new doors, and create new ideas. Strive each day to get 1% better and wiser physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Inspire and educate your mind, body, and soul in innovative ways to improve clarity and to activate sustainable personal growth.

Your voice matters in 2020. Your words matter in 2020 – and your actions matter in 2020. Share your voice and share your words. Embrace and tell your story every day. This New Year, allow your genuine curiosity to be your wings while designing the life you wish to live. This self-discovery journey called life is always under construction.

I have come to realize that life is love, and if you miss love, you miss life. Allow love to be the transcending force that transforms your relationship with yourself and others this New Year. It is not so much about learning how to love yourself. But unlearning all the ways, you reject yourself. May we continue to make peace with our past so we can truly embrace, appreciate, cherish, and immerse ourselves in the present moment.

From Ginger and me, I wish you a New Year centered around peace, love, positivity, smiles, happiness, joy, gratitude, kindness, and grace!

Ps. Together lets build a community.
