The Bedrock of Truth is Humility

The foundation of goodness is truth; the bedrock of truth is humility. We should never allow critics to silence the truth. There will always be someone who wants to poison our minds with lies. These are situations that will test our courage. Be the supreme master of your mind. Never let the opinions of others drown out your inner voice.

Man with backpack and books walking in the parkEach day is a chance to show the world something it has never seen before. Each day is filled with unique opportunities to learn, grow, and share. It is not about what you know. It is about what you don’t know but need to know. We cannot grow inside our comfort zone.

Our lives are under constant pressures from the tensions of money, fame, fear, and greed. We waste time when we chase other people’s definitions of success. Most of our behaviour and decision making can be traced back to being influenced by the people around us. Thinking about what other people think of you is the best way to hand your life over to them.

Group of friends on the beach playing with ballWe must continuously challenge ourselves and the status quo. Days begin to feel the same when there’s no purpose behind what we do. Use your life participating in work that gives you meaning. Build a life of your own design while living the best life you can, while you can. Always strive to be the artist of your present and future because we are never done growing and getting better.

Each day I realize, there are still paths of growth and discovery that I have to cross. Join me!

Fighting trauma does not mean engaging it, it means surrendering to it with a curious mind
